The best prop firms that support TradingView are FTMO, Tradeify, The5ers, Take Profit Trader and Lucid Trading. The right choice depends on what you trade:

  • Best overall TradingView option: FTMO

TradingView usually provides charting and order entry. The prop firm's broker or data-feed connection still controls execution, account rules, drawdown monitoring and market data. TradingView states that it acts as an interface, while connected brokers handle the actual trades.

Prop Firms That Support TradingView

Prop firm Markets How TradingView works Main limitation
FTMO CFDs and futures CFD trades can be executed through the OANDA broker profile. Futures accounts use TradingView with Tradovate credentials. CFD and futures programs use different connections.
Tradeify Futures TradingView connects through a Tradovate-based account. TradingView is unavailable with Tradeify Rithmic accounts.
The5ers CFDs and selected programs TradingView is available as a trading platform, including for US-based clients. Availability depends on region and account type.
Take Profit Trader Futures TradingView is supported through the firm's data-feed connections. PRO+ live-market accounts use Tradovate as the broker.
Lucid Trading Futures TradingView is supported through CQG. TradingView is unavailable through Lucid's Rithmic connection.
FundedNext Futures Futures TradingView connects through a Tradovate account and TradingView add-on. This applies to FundedNext Futures, not necessarily its CFD accounts.

1. FTMO Is the Best General Option

FTMO is the strongest general choice if you want explicit TradingView support for CFDs or futures.

FTMO supports TradingView through separate connections for its two product lines:

  • CFD traders can execute simulated trades through TradingView using the OANDA broker profile.
  • Futures traders can use TradingView with Tradovate credentials.
  • FTMO Futures also supports NinjaTrader and Tradovate.

That gives traders the option to use TradingView for charts, indicators, alerts and chart-based order entry, while retaining access to other futures platforms.

2. Tradeify Is a Strong Futures Choice

Tradeify supports direct TradingView trading through Tradovate.

When you open a Tradeify account, you select the broker connection. A Tradovate-based account supports:

  • TradingView
  • Tradovate
  • NinjaTrader

Tradeify states that Level 1 CME market data is included and that choosing a supported platform does not add a separate charge. TradingView only connects to Tradeify's Tradovate accounts. Traders who choose Rithmic must use alternatives such as Tradesea, Quantower, Sierra Chart or R|Trader.

Tradeify suits futures traders who already use TradingView for analysis and want to place orders from the same charts.

The main drawback is platform support. Tradeify classifies TradingView as third-party software, so connectivity problems, bugs or other TradingView issues may fall outside Tradeify's support responsibility.

3. The5ers Supports TradingView for US Traders

The5ers allows US-based clients to use TradingView.

Non-US clients may also have access to MetaTrader 5, cTrader and TradingView, depending on the program and region.

The5ers has also added TradingView charts to its Hub. Traders can use charts, indicators and drawing tools from the dashboard. The5ers says TradingView is available through its web trading platform, while mobile access depends on the account and region.

The5ers is best suited to CFD traders who want TradingView as a trading platform rather than as an analysis tool only.

4. Take Profit Trader Supports TradingView for Futures

Take Profit Trader lists TradingView as one of its supported futures platforms.

The firm lists TradingView alongside Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Quantower and other platforms. Its platform information says traders can execute orders directly from TradingView charts.

Take Profit Trader uses Tradovate and Rithmic connections. TradingView is associated with the Tradovate and CQG route rather than the Rithmic-based platforms.

The funded stage requires extra attention. Take Profit Trader states that PRO+ accounts use Tradovate as the regulated broker for live-market execution. A trader may therefore start with TradingView but later use Tradovate for a PRO+ account.

5. Lucid Trading Supports TradingView Through CQG

Lucid Trading supports TradingView on LucidFlex and LucidPro futures accounts through CQG.

Lucid lists TradingView, Tradovate and NinjaTrader among its CQG-supported platforms. Rithmic accounts support platforms such as MotiveWave, Quantower, Sierra Chart, Bookmap, ATAS and R|Trader Pro.

Choose the CQG connection if TradingView is essential. Choosing Rithmic gives access to a different set of futures platforms but removes direct TradingView access.

Does FundedNext Use TradingView?

FundedNext Futures supports TradingView through Tradovate.

Traders activate the TradingView add-on inside Tradovate, then connect their Tradovate credentials through TradingView's Trading Panel.

FundedNext's CFD position is less clear. Its help center says TradingView is used for analysis while MT5 is required for trade execution. It also states that the TradingView feature was temporarily paused because of technical issues. CFD traders should confirm the current position before purchasing an account.

Prop Firms That Do Not Currently Use TradingView

Topstep is not currently a TradingView prop firm. Topstep's official help center states that TopstepX is its only available trading platform. Traders who want to execute through TradingView should consider FTMO, Tradeify, The5ers, Take Profit Trader or Lucid Trading instead.

Final Verdict

FTMO is the broadest choice because it supports TradingView for both CFD and futures products.

For futures traders, Tradeify offers a straightforward TradingView route through Tradovate. Select Tradovate rather than Rithmic if you want to place trades from TradingView charts.
